Facing the Giant

Once you find yourself grounded in your walking; you are now able to face the reality as hard as it sounds “Cancer”.  Your opponent has been identified and the target is in focus; is now time to battle this Giant .  Let this battle begin!!!!!

On one corner we have “the Giant” and on the opposite corner “You”. Making this battle a mockery to “David and Goliath”; of the underdog situation where a smaller and weaker opponent faces a much bigger and stronger adversary.  But in this case this adversary has only the power that is capable of getting by you allowing it to feed from your weakness approach.  1 Samuel 17:33-37

You have the option to fight this enemy with the system that the world offers.  Which only makes you more vulnerable to the situation by constantly hearing the negative punches of this Giant; “The tumor has grown!”; “You will need radiation!”; “You will also need chemotherapy!” the Giant keeps swinging left and right hooks taking you to the weakest point and you are caught cold.  1 Samuel 17:41-44, 17:48

You are now the weakest that you have ever been; giving your opponent the opportunity to place you on the ropes trapping your every thought process.  You are now at the mercy of your enemy; making this battle one that keeps dragging the process knowing that the faith has been placed in a system with flaws and full of false hopes.  A system that has been broken and following a text book cookie pattern. 1 John 2:15-17

The final power punch is now swung “It has Metastize!” a flash knockout and your face hits the canvas.  Your heart is pounding 100 beats per minute you find yourself tired and weak; your brain is in control and is telling you to give up.  You now begin to contemplate whether to continue on or to throw in the towel.  Your strength has been drained and your willingness devoured.  The countdown begins 1! 2! 3! 4! 5! 6! you are finally ready to give up until something startled you and overcomes your body.

Then at that very moment you realize there is a stronger force that lifts you up giving you the strength necessary to continue on and not give up.  You now are toe to toe with an upstart mentality and with a supernatural strength.  Philippians 4:13

The only difference now is that you decided to face “the Giant” head on.  A fresh new fight is now “You” in control and “The Giant” has shrunk in size.  You are now fully armored standing your ground with the authority and the weapons that you will need to fight this superficial power.  Ephesians 6:10-13

You are now at peace; your body, soul and spirit harmonious in agreement.  You are the strongest you have ever been at your weakest state.  The word of God wrapped around your head protecting your every thought; the truth of His word buckled around your waist and the breastplate of righteousness shielding you from any punches.  Your feet fitted and readiness with the peace of mind that only faith can drive your every action.  “You” finally sucker punch and swing “I CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST WHO STRENGTHENS ME!” and your opponent is down.  There is no other option but to call for a Technical Knock Out!  “Cancer” has been defeated.  “You” are now free from this authority and the roles have switched.  You are now “The Giant!” Ephesians 6:14-18
